At Hazelwood, we have the Poppy Unit that is fully equipped and dedicated to providing dementia care for those with dementia. Our team is also fully trained to understand and deal with all aspects and levels of dementia, and we take pride in providing the highest levels of care and respect for every individual. We offer a range of activities that are designed to help people with memory impairment, including a sensory room on our first floor which is extensively used by all residents, especially those with dementia. We also welcome our resident’s families at all times, so their usual routines can continue with minimal disruption.
