George has worked in a variety of roles in the care home setting over the last 16 years, and specialises in Dementia Care. Anca-Elena SerbanDeputy ManagerAnca has worked at Hazelwood as a Registered Nurse for just under 3 years and is now also a Clinical Lead. Anca has extensive experience, having worked for four years as a health care assistant looking after children with learning disabilities, as well as a health care assistant in the community and three years as a senior health care assistant in a residential home. Anca enjoys making a difference to her residents’ lives, helping and supporting them to ensure their needs are met, and seeing them smile.

Claire loves coming in to work and enjoys her role working in admin and reception as she loves getting to meet new people and working with the friendly staff.

Marlin really enjoys interacting with the residents, ensuring they are well taken care of, and working with the great team of staff at Hazelwood.

Laijesh likes his role as a Cook because he enjoys cooking and preparing food for people, and he likes Hazelwood because the staff is friendly and supportive.

Roxana really enjoys her work; the pace of work suits her as I like to keep busy and the staff and management are all friendly and the home is very welcoming.

When he first started working at Hazelwood, he was a Cleaner and Kitchen Assistant, however, when the role of Maintenance came up he felt it was perfect for him as he enjoys practical work and fixing things. Wilfredo is very happy in his job role as he is doing what he enjoys, t is very interesting, and every day is different. Wilfredo also likes working at Hazelwood as the Manager is supportive, and the staff is friendly.
