Hazelwood Care Home is a modern purpose-built home, specifically designed to meet the needs of its residents across two floors. Our comprehensive facilities allow us to provide general nursing care services for older people on the Primrose Unit on the ground floor, as well as dementia care on the Poppy Unit on the first floor. Our focus has been and will always continue to be, providing exceptional accommodation that offers home comforts, choice, and flexibility.

All our homely bedrooms have been decorated to the highest standards. They come complete with full bedroom furniture, a profiling bed, TV, WiFi, Nurse Call System, and a WC suite. They also have their own telephone point so residents can contact loved ones at any time of the day or night.

Coordinating Your Move

We offer new residents with dedicated ‘move-in coordinators’ to help make the move into Hazelwood Care Home as smooth as possible. We are on hand to help organise bringing your own furniture and fittings into your new room and encourage you to bring as many personal items as possible. We strive to make the transition into Hazelwood Care Home as smooth and pleasant as possible. We will work with residents and their loved ones to help coordinate the move and make life as easy as it can be.

Our experienced team is passionate about welcoming and integrating each resident to their new home, and we will take as much time and assistance as you need to help settle you into your new home.

Regrettably we are unable to accept pets into the home.

We positively encourage residents to bring any personal items or small furniture to help ensure they feel more at home. From pictures to ornaments, we have seen how a small collection of personal items can transform a room.

Staying connected with loved ones outside of the home is a top priority for us. We have invested in fantastic technology and up-to-date Wi-Fi to ensure residents can remain in close contact with those most important to them at any time of the day.
