Cinema has the ability to transport you to another world; it has the ability to make you laugh, cry, and reminisce in ways that few other ways can. Our dedicated Cinema Room here has been designed to bring our residents closer together and it is the ideal place for friends, family, and loved ones to sit back, relax and spend time together.

Our Activity Coordinator works hard to ensure residents are presented with a selection of films to choose from, from black and white westerns to family favourites, there is something for everyone in our amazing private cinema.

A Purpose-Built Cinema

Our luxurious cinema has been designed exclusively for residents. Combining the traditional elements typically found in a cinema, with the comforts needed to feel entirely at home, residents have the perfect place to enjoy a film or two, right on their doorstep. We love seeing our residents settle down into their seats, make themselves as comfortable as possible and sit back and immerse themselves in their favourite films. Our-purpose built cinema is fully kitted to be accessible and comfortable for all of our residents; a place where functionality and luxury combine to make the perfect space for relaxing.

Unlock Memories

One of life’s greatest pleasures is getting lost in a good movie, with a lot of films even acting as time capsules to a lost era. Nostalgia is incredibly powerful, and our Cinema Room gives residents the opportunity to watch old movies from their childhood and unlock memories that may have been buried over the decades. Films are perfect for not only enjoying the moment, but also a great way to relive fond memories and talk about and share with their fellow residents and staff; a trip to the Cinema Room can be for those who are looking to enjoy time alone, as well as those who enjoy the social aspect it offers also.

Our home cinema setup has been meticulously designed to simulate the full cinema experience for our residents. Featuring a sizable screen and comfortable armchairs, complete with a range of cinema-style treats, it’s the perfect place for our residents who want to watch their favourite films.

The use of our cinema is extended to all residents as part of their comprehensive care package. We also encourage residents to bring their relatives, friends, and loved ones to enjoy the cinematic experience with them, with the added option of arranging private screenings for intimate gatherings.

Our cinema plays a wide array of titles and genres, chosen in collaboration with our residents to cater to their diverse tastes. In addition to this, we regularly broadcast televised sports events and facilitate communal cinema sessions, fostering a sense of camaraderie among individuals who share common interests, while also providing a reminiscent experience.
